About the Land
San Fransokyo Square replaces the former Pacific Wharf which is an opening day original area at Disney California Adventure. The new direction for the wharf-themed area takes place in a bustling seaport area of the hometown city feature in the Walt Disney Animation Studios animated film BIG HERO 6.
Fans of the film or the subsequent animated series will find familiar Easter eggs and nods to the franchise. A new character greeting with Hiro and Baymax has been added while existing dining and shopping options have been refreshed with the new backstory.
