The new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction at Disneyland in Mickey’s Toontown surprised and delighted fans with an El CapiTOON Theater as part of the attraction’s backstory. The in-world theater features a concession stand with numerous fun and punny snacks and as luck would have it, many of those snacks are actually available for purchase inside the EngineEAR Souvenirs shop which serves as the attraction’s exit.
The sweet treats are proving so popular that on the official opening day, Disney completely sold out of the POWER LIMES candies.
The concession stand inside Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway serves as a teaser promotion for real snacks that you’ll be able to purchase after you exit the attraction.
Side-by-side view of the Power Limes candy as seen in the attraction compared to the actual ones you can buy for $2.99. These sold out on opening weekend and were unavailable by mid-day on opening day, Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Side-by-side view of the Scrooge McDuck’s Milk Chocolate Coins which can be purchased for $5.49.
Side-by-side view of the Golly Pops which are available as trio of lollies that read GAWRSH, OH BOY and HOT DOG and can be purchased for $9.99.
Even the El CapiTOON popcorn boxes are available for purchase!
Side-by-side view of the The El CapiTOON Yummy! Popcorn Bucket that can be purchased at the popcorn cart near Mickey’s House for $23 and includes popcorn upon purchase. No refills are given with this bucket and they are limited to 2 per transaction.
With the POWER LIMES candies proving so popular that they sold out, we’re holding out hopes for some of the other candies in the concession stand including Mallard Cups, Laugh-O-Grahams, and Witch Haze Nut Candy!
