It’s been a minute since our last pictorial but now that D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con are behind us, we were able to enjoy the Disneyland Resort and it was a great weekend to be in attendance as we saw the return of several Disneyland Classics in Frontierland with the return of the Disneyland Railroad and full service of the Rivers of America!

Aside from that, we also got a look at the construction for Galaxy’s Edge Star Wars themed land, Summer of Heroes, and more! We’ll also have a mini merch run too! All of this and more in our latest pictorial. ENJOY!

Rivers of America

After a lengthy closure to accommodate construction for the new Galaxy’s Edge Star Wars themed land, there was a return of several Disneyland classics this weekend including the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, Sailing Ship Columbia, Mark Twain, and the Disneyland Railroad.

Earlier this year we also saw the return of a few other classics including Tom Sawyer Island and Fantasmic!.

Great to see Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes and the Sailing Ship Columbia making rounds again at Disneyland!

Around Disneyland

We were visiting the parks with family so we couldn’t quite do our regular run-around-the-park-to-take-pics-of-dirt that we’re used to. Enjoy now a selection of more photos!

Saw it mentioned that Preferred Parking was gone but it seems like that’s not the case.

Neat and pretty? Let’s go!

A proper queue setup for taking pictures at the Mickey Floral at the entrance.

The side gate was opened just prior to the parade.

Love all the posters in here.

Decided to take a cruise through the Spanish Main.

Been tryin’ to break into the theater all day but they keep a runnin’ him off.

Love the off chance of seeing the parade up close from the train!

Cutting across the parade route on the train is also a fun opportunity.

Summer of Heroes

There’s only 40 days left of the Summer of Heroes.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT anchoring the Summer of Heroes promotion.

Never noticed the Hydra logo on this weapon in the Collector’s office.

Our merch run this update is exclusively dedicated to the Collector’s Warehouse…

Groot bags and Mixed Tape Bottle Opener.

The Mediterranean menu is back at Paradise Garden Grill. Here’s the Gyro, we swapped Tabouli for Rice Pilaf.

Bring on the Bricks

The brick pavers that we saw placed at Mickey and Friends several months ago on the Goofy level are now being duplicated on all levels of the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

Galaxy’s Edge

After the announcement at the D23 Expo earlier this month, we now know the name for the Star Wars themed land is Galaxy’s Edge! There’s still a LONG way to go but we’re starting to see a lot more concrete rising on the metal structures. Many thanks to MacBones for these pictures below and a few throughout this pictorial!
