Here’s a look at what we got to see at the Disney Experiences Showcase during 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) taking place from August 14 – 16, 2026.

What to Expect

The Disney Experiences Showcase at the Honda Center was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and featured Michael Hundgen, Vice President Creative for Walt Disney World, and Imagineer Jason Grandt who detailed highlights of the new national park-themed area. Here’s some of what we learned.

Cars Ridge Run Rally
- The all-new off-road wilderness race experience features that will vehicles bounce up snowy mountain peaks, navigate camelback bumps, and speed past the giant “Old Tankful” geyser while Lightning McQueen and Mater provide live play-by-play commentary.
- The attraction will debut a completely new ride vehicle, designed not to simulate an off-road car, but to be one. Guests will feel every bump, drop, and rock because this vehicle’s tires and suspension are truly driving over and reacting to them.
Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along
- A family attraction featuring the Cars 3 character center stage as a massive, school-bus-sized audio-animatronic.
- Miss Fritter hosts a stampeding bash at her wildest demolition derby yet.
Details about the land
- Guests will be able to see and explore the visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and more all set within the Disney and Pixar Cars universe.
- Piston Peak is inspired by the Rocky Mountain area and the history and iconic sights of the American Frontier and its national parks.
