Knott’s Spooky Farm is back for the fall 2024 season and the park’s regular offerings are boosted with even more autumnal fun and Halloween-themed activities including trick-or-treating, entertainment, costume parties, pumpkin decorating, and more.

With hosted tickets, we were given access to check out all of the spooktacular fun around the park. Here’s everything you need to know about for 2024 Knott’s Spooky Farm!

Things To Do

Besides all the rides and entertainment already in the park there’s a bunch of fun fall-themed activities geared for the whole family. Little ones can stake their claim to a bounty of candy with trick or treating in Ghost Town or make their mark by decorating cookies and pumpkins (for an extra fee). Plus, head over to the Livery Stable for a fun display of the creepiest crawliest critters this side of Calico.

Plus, boos, ghouls, and little monsters of all ages are welcomed show off their Halloween costumes. Of course, costume rules apply which an be found on the Knott’s official site.

Entertainment

There’s a bunch of toe-tappin’ fun in store for everyone in the family during Knott’s Spooky Farm events. The Calico Mine Stage plays host to tent pole offerings including Snoopy’s Spooktacular Costume Party where everyone in costume is invited to participate and spooktacular country music fun with Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.

Plus, find a host of Spooktivities at Calico Park featuring Snoopy and the Gang with games, music, spooky stories and more. Over at the Birdcage Theater, find the The Bob Baker Marionette Theatre Show Halloween Spooktacular which returns a charming Halloween-themed show.

Attraction Overlays

Spooky-but-not scary seasonal attraction overlays are available to enjoy as part of the festivities. At the Timber Mountain Log Ride, the classic Knott’s hallmark attraction gets a zany Halloween Hootenanny takeover with an insane assortment of monsters, aliens, and other creatures — both spooky and silly. You can also venture over to the Calico Candy Mine Ride where the The Pink Fairy has transformed the iconic peak into a fantastical big rock candy mountain giving the classic attraction an update full of literal eye candy — just be careful of those popping rocks!

Also, with Camp Snoopy completely decorated for the family-friendly festivities, you’ll see tons of  pumpkins, gourds, jack-o-lanterns and more on the various attractions in Camp Snoopy and around the land. Although the attractions aren’t significantly modified for the holiday, you’ll still see decor for the fall season on attractions such as the Beagles Express Railway, Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally, and more.

All around the park, you’ll find tons of fall displays, fun and spooky decorations including skeletons, pumpkins, and jack-o-lanterns plus several photo-ops all around for those perfect family photos and selfies.

You can continue the fall festivities with a host of sweet treats including fresh handmade and prepackaged sweets and treats — from decorated cupcakes to fanciful cake pops and traditional desserts, there’s something satisfy every sweet tooth. Plus, there’s a few different pieces of merchandise to commemorate you trip — from a series of PEANUTS toys and collectibles to event-specific tees, plush and more!

You can also find more fun by venturing down the Gold Mine Trail to find activities, games, and more shopping and dining.

Decor and More

Calico Park is transformed into an enchanting Pumpkin Patch with photo ops and whimsical jack-o-lanterns ready for the perfect fall selfies.

Plus, find fun and whimsical decor around the whole park — and don’t sorry about venturing too far down the paths. Even though the separately-ticketed  evening Knott’s Scary Farm events are hosted in the park, all of the spooky decorations are put away or covered up during the day to make the whole park a family-friendly experience!

See it for Yourself

Knott’s Spooky Farm is included with regular park admission and takes place in the daytime — Thursdays through Sundays (plus Indigenous Peoples’ Day) — from September 26 through October 31, 2024.
