This seasonal version of the attraction is available both during the daytime for Knott’s Spooky Farm and in the evenings for the separately ticketed Knott’s Scary Farm. But beware: not everything may be as it seems!

About the Attraction

Gold and precious metals are so yesteryear. For the fall season, this big hunk of rock becomes a candy mountain known throughout the land for its free-flowing fizzy soda springs and colorful candy of all types ready for the prospecting — just be careful of those popping rocks though, they are sure to park some trouble.

The magic is brought to life by a sweet curse enchantment from the conniving kindly Pink Fairy who works her magic to lure welcome visitors far and wide to be captured captivated by the sugary trap spectacle. Unrelated: reported sightings of the Green Witch are COMPELELY unfounded. If you visit the attraction during Knott’s Scary Farm, you’ll find a slightly darker twist to all of the sweetness.

This attraction sees its longest lines when families are in the park enjoying the gentle train ride through the peak. You’ll find the shortest waits in the mornings and later in the evenings.

There’s a different version of the show in the day time and during Knott’s Scary Farm. The daytime version does not have a cameo appearance by any villanous foes.

Knott’s Scary Farm returns for 29 frightful nights from September 19 – November 2, 2024. Event dates follow:

Knott’s Scary Farm is open 7:00 pm – 1:00 am, excluding Fridays and Saturdays, where the event will run 7:00 pm – 2:00 am. Due to the explicit and frightening nature of the event, it is not recommended for children under 13.
