About the Show
The Bob Baker Marionette Theatre Show hardly needs an introduction. Having enchanted Los Angeles audiences for more than six decades, the whimsical puppetry performances are ready to charms guests at Knott’s Spooky Farm. As a special treat, if you line up next to the stage after the show, you can have your chance to take a picture with one of the puppeteers and a marionette.
Knott’s itself has been a long champion of the nostalgic artform including Tony Kemeny’s puppet wagon in the late 1950s to René Zendejas marionette performances in the 1980s.
How to Watch
The show takes place at the Birdcage Theater and while it is not necessarily in high demand with most guests in the park, limited capacity for small venue does mean that showings can and will likely fill up.
Doors open roughly a half hour before showtime but there’s no need to arrive more than about 20 minutes early unless you are particular about where you sit in the theater. This is an intimate venue so even the farthest seat in the house is still pretty decent.
The Bob Baker Marionette Theatre Show Halloween Spooktacular is exclusive to Knott’s Spooky Farm on Saturdays and Sundays with typical showtimes at 11:45, 1:30, 3, 430 but always check the Knott’s Scary Farm app for the latest details.
