If you’re familiar with the “not-so secret” level that we’ve talked about before at Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Hollywood, then you’ll be happy to know that area has gotten even more SUPER! If you have a Power-Up Band, you can start earning more coins (and stamps) with a new interactive wall.
The new interactive game is activated by a Power-Up Band, start by punching the ? Block which will provide one of four Power-Up items – Fire Flower, Ice Flower, Super Mushroom or Super Star – appear on the wall.
Tap the Power-Up to activate and begin swiping or tapping the wall to defeat Goombas and Red and Green Koopa Paratroopas or tap on brick blocks as they flash by which to collect coins. The goal is to collect as many points as possible before the timed activity concludes. Even if you don’t have a power-up band, you can still tap the ? Block and activate a coin animation.
If you don’t have a Power-Up Band, you actually can still participate. You won’t activate the game but you will get a coin animation with coins that you can actually tap on. Since you are not using a Power-Up Band, it won’t track the coins to anything but it’s still a nice visual bonus compared to the other ? Blocks in the land that simply give an audio effect.
