It’s a good time to be a fan of DuckTales! With the recent announcement of the reboot for the show and Tokyo Disneyland’s recent restaurant refurbishment, there’s no time like the present to find yourself immersed in the duck-filled world of Donald, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Uncle Scrooge.

The existing Lucky Nugget Cafe at Tokyo Disneyland will be renovated with a new two-story indoor dining area on the second floor and a campfire setting. The naturalistic settings on the banks the Rivers of America make for a perfect translation of the Junior Woodchucks of the World campground made familiar in the animated cartoon and classic comic strips.

A new dedicated character greeting will also be included as part of the renovation. Although the character roster is as yet unannounced, it is very likely that Donald Duck and perhaps his three nephews may greet guests as part of this new character dining experience.

Completion of this expansion will mark the second dedicated character greeting location in the park and the FIFTY THIRD restaurant.
