Universal Studios is bringing a whole bunch of horror-ble fun to Midsummer Scream 2026 at the Long Beach Convention Center with a booth showcasing both Halloween Horror Nights and Universal Horror Unleashed. The interactive space features character appearances, giveaways, plus peeks into the upcoming haunt season including merch.

What to Expect

The booth features photo-ops and peeks at the fun in store this year plus a bunch of peeks at the merch that will be available this haunt season. There’s an interactive experience with a spinning wheel that will grant you a random Universal Monster pin button and you can also pick up an astrological tarot card also featuring a Universal Monster. Plus, while supplies last, they are giving out a Universal Monsters Frankenstein tote. Merch lines on display include Halloween II, Bride of Frankenstein, Frankenstein 95th anniversary, Dracula 95th anniversary, Harikuma, and more.

Aside from shopping, there are several photo-ops including Ozzy Osbourne’s throne from the upcoming maze honoring his musical legacy, a (killer) Klown where you can become his cotton candy prisoner, backdrops for Sinners, plus some dark sinister spaces for the Hellraiser character to roam. You might also spot other Universal Monsters in the space including Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, and Bride of Frankenstein.
