Artist ARCY took to 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event to once again create an entire mural over the course of the entire weekend. Fans passing into the Anaheim Convention Center every day could track the progress which finished on the final day of the event.

Here’s a look at what we got to see during 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) taking place from August 14 – 16, 2026.

No stranger to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Ryan ‘ARCY’ Christenson is known for his paint-splashed style of large scale street art. Over the span of his career, ARCY has created hundreds of live murals and permanent large scale works throughout North America, Australia, and Europe.

The commissioned piece is called A Star Spangled Celebration and features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto in a colorful red, white, and blue mural with an American flag, fireworks, and an overall patriotic vibe.
