Located at the Dreamworks Theater on the Upper Lot, the fan-favorite anime comes to life in Hollywood with an experience that originally debuted at Universal Studios Japan.

- Super Sailor Moon embarks on a battle with an unforeseen enemy with sinister motives to acquire the Legendary Silver Crystal from Moon Palace’s enchanting ball. When a mysterious enemy threatens the Legendary Silver Crystal, the Moon Palace is plunged into chaos, testing even Super Sailor Moon’s resolve. Watch Super Sailor Moon and the Sailor Guardians fight to restore hope and brilliance to the universe.

- Visit this attraction later in the day. If you are planning to stay until closing, consider jumping in line for the very final performance as that showtime typically begins right at park closing. It’s like getting an extra 20-minutes of in-park time after the event has closed! Just be sure to check with Team Members at the location for details on when they will close the line for the night so that you don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy the show.
- Seats in the first half of the theater — closer to the screen — might be more impactful since this experience does not fully utilize the immersive wrap-around effects normally seen in this attraction.

Meet Sailor Moon
Located near the Dreamworks Theater on the Upper Lot, the Moon Kingdom comes to life with a special themed area where you can meet Sailor Moon herself.
- Specific appearance times are not posted for the character but you can expect to see her from 6:00 pm through 1:00 am. Always check the official Universal app during your visit for the latest information.

Sweets and treats are on the menu to celebrate Super Sailor Moon. Celebrate “In the name of the Moon” with all-new items including a special bento box combo meal including a spicy tuna onigiri, plus a Moonlight Love Sparkle drink and Tuxedo Mask’s Raspberry Rose Sandwich Cookie. Nearby, Sailor fans can also find a Moon Scepter Churro and Mystery Box Cupcakes.

Of course, you can expect there to be a celestial selection of merch. A celestial bounty of Sailor Moon and Guardian-themed items has descended for the celebration. Most of the items are general merch items that are not specific to the event including bags, mugs, pins, hairclips, keychains, and plush. There is also a Universal-exclusive pink Spirit Jersey with metallic gold lettering and iconography on the front and back.

Universal Fan Fest Nights takes place at Universal Studios Hollywood on select dates from April 23 through May 16, 2026.
Event dates include April 23-25; May 1-3, 7-9, and 15-16. The event will begin each event night at 7pm and tickets are now available for purchase.
