Last week, Disneyland Resort confirmed a new requirement for a digital discount ticket for Legacy Passholders and since then many have been trying to figure out how it works. The initial announcement noted that users who had previously linked their Annual Passes with their Disney Account in the Disneyland App should have their passes automatically re-appear within a few days.

While this happened for some, it did not happen for all. This week, Disney began sending emails to Legacy Passholders with a special Legacy Passholder Discount Code that now allows them to re-add their status to their Disney account via the app. The code in the email is account-specific so it cannot be shared. Inputting the new code into the app follows the same steps as adding a new ticket or Annual Pass.

Here’s a step by step of how to go through the steps. Remember not to share the code that was emailed to you as it is associated to your Passport and may not be used by anyone else.

  1. Download the Disneyland app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the Disneyland app and tap on the bottom, right menu button
  3. Tap “Tickets and Passes”
  4. Sign into your Disney account, or create a new account (online registration required)
  5. Tap “Link Tickets and Passes”
  6. Enter the Legacy Passholder Discount code above
  7. You are all set!

Know Before You Go

  • Your new Legacy Passholder discount ticket will show an expiration date of April 30, 2021. Please note, this expiration date will be automatically extended until new membership offerings are announced, and you may continue to receive applicable discounts until that time.
  • To check for the updated expiration date of your digital discount ticket, view the ticket in the Disneyland app or visit Disneyland.com/LegacyPassholderDiscounts.
