IT’S YOSHI TIME! Super Nintendo World is ready to once again celebrate the iconic green dino and at 2026 Universal Fan Fest Nights, we had the chance to check out Super Nintendo World: Let’s Go, Yoshi to explore this year’s fun activities, dining options, and more.
With hosted tickets, we were given access to the park to uncover all the fun for ourselves. Here’s a look at everything you need to know about Super Nintendo World: Let’s Go, Yoshi for 2026 Universal Fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Know Before You Go
If you’re planning to take part in the colorful Yoshi activities it’s important to know a few things:
- The entire Super Nintendo World land closes at 12:00 AM
- The Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge attraction closes at 10:15 PM
- Always check the official Universal app during your visit for the latest information.
Meet Colorful Yoshis
Located in Super Nintendo World on the Lower Lot, the entire land has been taken over by colorful Yoshi dinos. Find your favorite color and hop in line!
💜 Purple Yoshi in the center of the land where Mario and Luigi usually meet
💛 Yellow Yoshi to the left of Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown entrance
💙 Blue Yoshi to the right of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge entrance
💗 Pink Yoshi at the Gazebo near the castle where Peach usually meets
💚 Green Yoshi is the chaser Yoshi! In order to meet him you’ll have to solve the Fan Fest Nights puzzle (learn more below)
Quick Tips
- If you really want to meet a particular Yoshi, you should plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes BEFORE the start of each scheduled appearance.
- Other than green Yoshi, there’s nothing required to meet with each colored Yoshi. If the line is open, jump on in!
Yoshi Puzzle
You can meet the original green Yoshi (together with Mario!) during the event but you have to solve the special Yoshi puzzle in order to be granted audience!
What To Know
As soon as you enter the land from Princess Peach’s Castle, head to the left to find Team Members handing out the Yoshi foldout puzzle. The premise is simple, solve the various puzzles on the inside of the foldout to figure out the secret letters you’ll need to unscramble a hidden message on the back of the pamphlet.
Once you’ve deciphered the secret message, head up to the Frosted Glacier level of the land where you’ll be able to meet one of the colored Yoshis. While there’s no posted appearance times for Yoshi and Mario, it’s safe to assume they should be available until close to the closing of the land.
Quick Tips
- If you’re clever enough, you might be able to solve the secret message without completing the puzzles. But that’s no fun, right?
- If this is an important highlight for you, make sure to prioritize this early in the evening as it closes early AND waits can jump to a half hour or more.
Dining
Chef Toad has been hard at work to craft fare for the Toadstool Cafe. Enjoy the colorful Yoshi celebration with three specially themed smoothies with flavors representing the green, yellow and purple Yoshis. A special drink bottle featuring the Green Yoshi and its signature Yoshi Egg will be available for purchase.

Shopping
Of course, you can expect there to be an egg-cellent assortment of merch celebrating colorful Yoshis. Tons of Super Nintendo World merch can typically be found around the entire property but even more items are joining the line up specifically for Fan Fest Nights. Highlights include colorful Yoshi character tees in the colors of all the Yoshis plus hoodies, shoulder pals, and a multi-Yoshi headband. There’s also several other Yoshi items including a fuzzy Yoshi-shaped side bag that makes it look like he’s hugging your hip.

Universal Fan Fest Nights takes place at Universal Studios Hollywood on select dates from April 23 through May 16, 2026.
Event dates include April 23-25; May 1-3, 7-9, and 15-16. The event will begin each event night at 7pm and tickets are now available for purchase.
