Part of the quirky charm of San Diego Comic-Con are the surprise impromptu moments that nobody’s expecting and for the 2025 event, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is surprising fans all around the area with pop-up live performances. If you’re trying to catch one of these yourself, no badge is required.

Here’s what we got to see for the surprise pop-up show for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

The surprise pop-up shows taking place throughout the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter take spectators on a journey through five immersive “strange new worlds” inspired by Season 3 of CBS’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds genre-bending episodes: a noir murder mystery, a zombie horror, a 60s retro mission, a Vulcan wedding, and plenty of sci-fi mayhem.

Created by JFI Productions, each 10-minute performance is bold and unexpected offering fans the chance to step into the story unlike ever before.

You can find these popping up between 3:00PM and 4:00PM at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park; between 6:00PM and 8:00PM PST outside the Paramount+ Lodge at Happy Does; and more undisclosed locations. Follow @StarTrek social handles to learn about additional performance locations.
