As Downtown Disney continues to its evolution into its new phase, the Mouse has confirmed several updates for the shopping, dining, and entertainment district at the Disneyland Resort including the new Disney Wonderful World of Sweets.
Set to open “this winter,” Fan favorite Marceline’s Confectionery is being reimagined into the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets. The newly-expanded shop will offer a whimsical selection of candy, sweets and treats including tasty favorites such as churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, packaged confections and new to the west coast… freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn! Fans in EPCOT have been enjoying the fresh, hot, sweet treat for several years.
The popular peek-in window will remain where you can watch as the delectable handmade delights are created in their exhibition kitchen, viewable from the promenade. For now, the Marceline’s Confectionery cart remains open to pick up a limited selection of grab-and-go sweets and treats.
