Nothing fires up Disney fans more than learning about what’s coming to Disney Parks and during the Disney Experiences Showcase for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event at the Honda Center, fans were treated to a taste of what’s to come over the next several years.

We’ve organized all of the announcements in chronological order timeline based on when we can expect to see them completed.

Here’s a look at everything we learned from the Disney Experiences Showcase at the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Hello, and Welcome

Before the evening’s announcements and performances kicked off, fans were treated to a pre-show with a reunion of the Mad T Party gang from the evening show that used to light up the night at Disney California Adventure from 2012 to 2016.

Patrick Warburton reprised his iconic role from the Soarin’ Over California pre-show safety video to welcome guests to the Disney Experiences Showcase. Special cameos in the video included Jay the OG Soarin’ Ear Hat Guy reprises his role as the on-board guest who forgets to remove their ear hats and Kaitlyn Robrock, the current official voice of Minnie Mouse, makes a cameo stepping in for the thumbs up “Nice work, Pal” kid.

Announcements Timeline

As Disney is prone to do, very few concrete dates have been announced due to the nature of construction and unforseen setbacks. After all, even magic takes a little time — or so they say. Here’s what we know so far along with some healthy speculation.

2024

• September 20: Reach for the Stars nighttime spectacular at Tokyo Disney
• Nov 15: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening and Critter Country changing to Bayou Country
• December 21: Disney The Tale of Moana sets sail on Disney Treasure

2025

• January: New nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Paris
• Summer: Disney Starlight nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom
• TBA: Disney’s Hercules show sets sail on Disney Destiny
• TBA: Pirate and EPCOT lounges coming to Disney World
• TBA: Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration
• TBA: Test Track reimagining reopens
• TBA (Expected): “Walt Disney — A Magical Life” animatronic show to alternate with Mr. Lincoln

2026

• TBA (Expected): Mandalorian and Grogu updates to Millennium Falcon attraction at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

2027

• TBA: Disney Cruise Line adding four new ships between 2027 and 2031
• TBA: Indiana Jones Mayan temple attraction coming to Animal Kingdom
• TBA: Encanto Casita attraction coming to Animal Kingdom
• TBA: Pueblo Esperanza adding 3 new attractions; replacing Dinoland
