After several months of re-imagining, Camp Snoopy has officially reopened at Knott’s Berry Farm. Although the land was not fully closed, several areas and attractions were down for the refresh which officially re-opened to guests on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

For now, the land is still a work in progress as crews continue to work over the summer to bring even more to explore in the fan-favorite land but there’s still plenty of fun to discover.

Meet the Peanuts

Although their new meet and greet location is not quite yet ready, you can still expect to see Peanuts characters around Camp Snoopy. You never know who you might see including Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Franklin, Sally, and, of course, Snoopy!

Attractions

Camp Snoopy has been refreshed with new and newly-updated adventures including the family-friendly Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster and the family-friendly Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally car ride. Additional attractions that will be debuting soon include the charming Beagle Express railroad, and the new gentle thrill Sally’s Swing Along.

Plus, the land’s other attractions are still available including the Sierra Sidewinder coaster, Flying Ace plane ride, Balloon Race spinner, Linus Launcher flying spinner, Rapid River Run swinging boat ride, and Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer spinning swings.

Upcoming Adventures

Amongst many play areas to explore including the caves and existing waterways of Camp Snoopy, you can also find a new green space that can be equal parts relaxing and exciting. The multi-use Beagle Scout Acres features a respite from the regular chaos of a day in the park where you can relax or burn off even more energy. Work continues on these areas expected to be completed soon!

Shopping

Snoopy’s Camp Store is the main shopping location in the land and is replete with everything to keep a happy camper moving and grooving during their visit to Camp Snoopy. Peppermint Patty’s Candy Cabin is also available offering everything to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Dining

Grizzly Creek Lodge has reopened with its familiar selection of kid-friendly offerings including hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders, and fresh salads. Meanwhile, Cave Inn Snacks features soft pretzels, churros, soft-serve ice cream, and ICEEs. Souvenir novelties including refillable bottles can also be purchased at both locations.

You can also find refreshment stands to pick up fresh popcorn and soft drinks. Souvenir items including popcorn buckets and bottles can be purchased respectively at these locations.

Grand Opening Ceremony

In case you missed it, we were at Knott’s Berry Farm for opening day and got to see the reopening ceremony which included several PEANUTS friends, members of the Girls and Boys Club of Buena Park, and Knott’s Berry Farm Vice President & General Manager Jon Storbeck.

Camp Snoopy updated adventures are now open at Knott’s Berry Farm. The land was officially reopened on June 27, 2024.

The renewed interest in the land comes with the Apple TV release of the Camp Snoopy series which is available now on the popular streaming service.
