Six Flags Magic Mountain is bringing the haunt season EARLY this year and we’re absolutely here for it. The separately-ticketed event is surprisingly reasonable at $39.99 per person and grants you after-hour access to the park which includes two haunted mazes, three scare zones, two dance parties, and access to select attractions all set in a spooky vibe with Spring Break twist.
MouseInfo was invited for a visit to check out their new SCREAM BREAK which takes select nights from March 18 to April 16, 2023. Ready for a shriek peek? ENJOY!
The Mazes
The two mazes are located across from Full Throttle. They open as the first phase of the event along with a DJ and the Coffin Bar for the first hour of the event. Afterwards, the rest of the event area opens which includes access to the spaces and attractions beyond Full Throttle including DC Universe and Steampunk District. You can get into the park as early as 7:30pm and the event officially opens at 9pm.
Condemned: House Party
This is pure camp and a lot of fun. This creaky old condemned house has become homebase for the most epic toga party rager. Expect familiar haunts and scares but with a Spring Break twist.
Vault 666: Initiation
Continuing on with the Spring Break party vibes, this maze takes a darker turn towards a frat house initiation inside of an old auction house and things have been dreadfully and painfully wrong.

Final Thoughts
In all, Six Flags Scream Break has a lot going for it. First and foremost, a $40 ticket into any sort of all-night event sounds absolutely unheard of these days. While this is not a full-fledged haunt even, it still offer a light bite with a price that matches.
Is it worth the cost of admission? Although we experienced the evening as hosted media, we can confidently say that the event offers enough to garner its entrance fee but ONLY if you do intend to ride some of the coasters. There’s enough here to keep you entertained and the lines for the mazes were short enough to make repeat visits to them feasible.
If you’ve got a hankering for a haunted evening, Six Flags Scream Break fits the bill. Check out our video on the event below.
