Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite landed upon the Happiest Place on Earth this past weekend adding a bunch of intergalactic fun from a galaxy far, far away. The special after-hours upcharge party included unique entertainment, character greetings, and food offerings to make for quite the cherry on top of an already epic Star Wars Celebration weekend.
This was the third and final Star Wars Nite party of the year and it lasted from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM on May 27, 2022. The tickets were $175 per person and did not include parking. We invite you along now — free of charge — to share a peek at everything! ENJOY!
A Lightsaber Meetup
Dozens, if not hundreds, of fans filled the entire space in front of the Millennium Falcon and the connecting alleyways with the warm colorful glow of amazing fandom and multi-colored lightsabers.

Costume Showcase and Group Photo
Twice per night, guests were asked to join Mickey and Minnie (who were wearing Disney bounds as R2-D2 and BB-8, respectively) for a procession down Main Street and a Photo-Op in front of the castle.
Lightsaber Masters
The front of “it’s a small world” turned into a Jedi Training Academy of sorts with guides showing wielders how to use their sabers.
March of the First Order
A few times per night, Captain Phasma led a small amassing of Storm Troopers through Tomorrowland as a show of strength for the First Order.
Character Greetings
All around the park guests were able to meet and greet with various Star Wars characters from across the entire spectrum of fandom.
Darh Vader was under the protection of Storm Troopers at Tomorrowland Terrace. Not far away from him was….
Darth Sidious with his Praetorian Guards!
Fantasyland descended into a hive of scum and villainy with Jaws and Tusken Raiders
The Clone Wars come alive with the appearances of Ahsoka Tano plus a pair of Star Wars Rebels, Ezra and Sabine.
The Seventh Sister was also on hand looking to quelsh any forms of rebellion.
Other characters we didn’t get to encounter included Captain Rex, R2-D2 and C-3PO on Main Street, Ewoks in Critter Country, plus Rey, Chewbacca, Vi Moradi, Kylo-Ren and BB-8 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Around the Park
Sleeping Beauty Castle was alight with a starfield all night with occasional flash of the Millennium Falcon flying over the facade.
A darkened Main Street also had similar projections.
