AHSOKA is one of our most highly-anticipated pieces of content to come from a galaxy far, far away and at STAR WARS CELEBRATION we got some teases about the upcoming series straight from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.

The duo dropped a few nuggets about the show which is in production now.

• Filoni will be directing episodes in the new series
• AHSOKA will follow the former Jedi knight as she investigates an emerging threat to the vulnerable New Republic
• The new series is slated for releaes in 2023
• Natasha Liu Bordizzo has been cast as Sabine Wren who will join the series
