With a splashy pyro finale, Disney California Adventure officially welcomed AVENGERS CAMPUS to the Disneyland Resort. The ceremony hosted was in the new land’s Avengers Headquarters with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige who introduced Paul Rudd, Jon Favreau, and Anthony Mackie plus Disney CEO Bob Chapek and Disney Parks chairman Josh D’Amaro.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige talked about the achievement of the land and about what lies ahead.
Ant-Man star, Paul Rudd joked that he sent emails to have Pym Test Kitchen named as Lang Test Kitchen instead but he got no responses.
Iron Man director (and “Happy” actor) Jon Favreau unveiled the new Mark 80 suit for Iron Man.
A bunch of the supers that will be seen in the land were gathered for a photo-op.

Anthony Mackie presented Sam Wilson with his shield officially kicking off the character as the new Captain America in the land.
In true Disney fashion, things aren’t over until the pyro goes boom!
End Credit Scene
In true Marvel fashion, there was a special end credit scene featuring SHANG-CHI actor Simu Liu winking to the camera, hinting at more to come in the new land.
The new land, which replaces the former “a bug’s land” area of the park boasts the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction, a new restaurant and bar (plus both sweet treat and savory snack options), shopping and entertainment options, and the inclusion of the existing Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT attraction.
