It seems the low crowds and wait times that we’ve seen reported consistently since April 30 at the Disneyland Resort may soon start to dwindle starting May 28 which is the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend.

Disney recently announced the return of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and also several Disneyland Resort restaurant locations in the past few days and the unifying tie to them all is dates on or around Memorial Day weekend. That alone doesn’t indicate much but there’s another hint that Disney is opening the floodgates just a little wider.

The current Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar shows several newly-available dates for reservations at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks which had previously sold out.

Disneyland Resort theme parks are now open.

To visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks, both a Theme Park Reservation AND valid Admission Ticket (for the same park on the same date) are required for guests ages 3 and up.
