D23 Inside Disney podcast is back with a new episode and aside from the regular reliable dish on the latest news and info about all things Disney, there were some exciting reveals by Disneyland President Ken Potrock!

Jungle Cruise reopening summer 2021

Potrock confirmed the attraction at Disneyland is expected to resume cruises by this summer. The JUNGLE CRUISE will be closed when Disneyland reopens tomorrow as preparations are underway to refresh and enhance the opening-day original.

Annual Pass Updates before 2022

Although scant on details, Potrock also offered insights into the reimagining of the recently-retired annual pass program which he said helps not only helps address capacity constraints but also the new ways in which guests like to visit the parks. The upcoming program will launch “before the end of the year.”

Downtown Disney’s new chapter

Talking about the re-imagining of Orlando’s Downtown Disney into Disney Springs, Potrock teased that similar changes could very well be coming to Anaheim, as well. “Now that I’m out here at Disneyland in Anaheim,” he shared, “many of the things we learned and accomplished [at Disney Springs and it’s clear that] there’s so much potential for Downtown Disney. I’m excited for what Downtown Disney will become in its next chapter.”
