Although Disneyland couldn’t have the glorious 65th Anniversary return from closure like many had hopped, the park still celebrated the milestone anniversary this year and now TEA@USC is excited to celebrate the place where the magic began with a special online event!
The 65 years of Theme Park Evolution : An Evening with Tony Baxter and Tom Morris live stream panel will examine Disneyland and theme park evolution with special panelists Tom Morris and Disney Legend Tony Baxter!
- Tony Baxter, a Disney Legend, served as senior vice president of creative development for Imagineering until his retirement in 2013, having created iconic attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Star Tours, Splash Mountain, The Indiana Jones Adventure, and Journey Into Imagination.
- Tom Morris, a Disneyland Historian, worked in Imagineering as a Creative Executive until his retirement in 2016 and worked on the creation of EPCOT, the design of Disneyland Paris’ Hotel, Hong Kong Disneyland and many more projects during his near 37 year career at Disney.
Join TEA@USC and listen to this iconic duo discuss theme park design in the past, its evolution to the present, and the endless possibilities of its future as TEA@USC kicks off the new school year… virtually!
