In the interest of public health and safety during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, it was confirmed today that STAR WARS CELEBRATION 2020 has been cancelled. Originally to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center this year, the event will be rescheduled to August 18-21, 2022 and remain in Anaheim. Star Wars also promises a presence next year at the D23 Expo.
Additional details have been provided for those affected by the cancellation.
Tickets Transfers and Refunds
Three options are available for those who held tickets for the 2020 event.
- Transferring Tickets to 2022 is an option. Chosing this option will also include a free exclusive Star Wars Celebration stormtrooper character pin for all transferred tickets.
- Credit for Star Wars Celebration merchandise
- Refunds are also being issued in lieu of transferring tickets to the 2022 event.
The ticket refund and merchandise credit request period will open on Monday, June 22 and must be completed by August 26, 2020.

Merchandise
If you pre-ordered merchandise, you have the option to still receive your order, or you may request a refund.
Please note: All of the incredible, exclusive merchandise planned for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim will be available for purchase online in the not so distant future and fans that choose to receive a merchandise credit will be able to use it at that time.
Hotel Packages
If you’ve booked a hotel in the official room block through the Star Wars Celebration housing portal, your reservation will automatically be canceled. Please remember to adjust any additional travel arrangements you may have.
