After several weeks following the grand opening of RISE OF THE RESISTANCE, Disneyland remains a hotbed of activity with refurbishments, construction, and special events continuing on in full force. We take a look this week at all the goings on at the Happiest Place on Earth including Avengers Campus, Project Stardust, and more.
Of course, a nice merch run at the end and much, much more in this latest park pictorial. ENJOY!
RISE and Shine
The hour and a half before park opening continues to be very busy at the Disneyland Resort. Expect lots of brake lights. Fans are still very eager to experience the brand new groundbreaking STAR WARS: RISE OF THE RESISTANCE attraction.
Even Pixar Pals was gridlocked on Saturday morning with cars backed up and halting vehicles from moving through the tolls.
Looks like digital signage is coming soon to the Pixar Pals side.
Security lines are also long once you finally park your car.
Even alternate paths like the new bridge are proving to be busy as people make their way into the Resort.
Security lines are long everywhere in the hour leading up to park opening.
Lines to get into the park move relatively quickly. They tend to open 30 minutes before posted park time.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
We didn’t have a chance to scope out the site on this visit but as you can see below from last week, there’s not much interesting really going on just yet.

Avengers Campus
MORE INFO: News and information about AVENGERS CAMPUS Marvel themed land
Not much to really see behind Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters now that the scrims have blocked construction.
Around Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure celebrated its 19th anniversary this past Saturday without any fanfare, not even a button at the entrance.
Not much change near Mission: Breakout.
Disney quietly confirmed last week that Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue! and Autopia will both be getting FASTPASS/MaxPass service added “soon.”
MORE INFO: Disneyland confirms FastPass coming to Monster’s Inc. and Autopia attractions
Details at the Spider-Man meet and greet are always fun.
AVENGERS: ENDGAME established in-world that there was Ben & Jerry’s Hulk-A-Hulk-A-Burning Fudge and Stark Raving Hazelnuts flavors and we also have confirmation of MarshMjonlir Rum-Thunder Crunch and Black Cherry Widow. I wonder if they’ll serve these flavors at Pym Test Kitchen later this year?
Rosie and Colin are on vacation.
Boudin Bakery Tour is under refurbishment.
Lightning McQueen was greeting guests at Flo’s V8 on Saturday morning.
Mater was at the Cozy Cone but not in his usual spot.
This is the second weekend in a row that we don’t see cars in the “regular” meet and greet spot.
Still no more Lunar New Year merchandise. This was the final weekend for Disney’s celebration.
I'm not saying it should be easy to add Lucky Cat Cafe into Disney California Adventure but like… pic.twitter.com/4PKKiye7W9

The buildings could use some TLC.
Looks like Mochi has been at work here.
Grizzly River Run refurbishment continues.
Still an odd mish-mash of logos.
Rushin River Outfitters is closed but a small selection of merch is still available out front.
Around Disneyland
The Valentine’s Day photo-op has returned to Main Street in time for Valentine’s Day.
Steamboat Minnie balloon popcorn buckets were still available and no lines to purchase. These are an AP-exclusive offering.
The paint at the Tomorrowland entrance takes on different looks depending on how the sunlight hits it.
The Onward Sneak Peek has landed at the Tomorrowland Theater.
Looks like an “E” sticker is covering an accidental “A” on the original sign.
The stairs in front of Space Mountain finally seem to be nearing completion.
Vi Moradi is still keeping tabs on Batuu for General Organa.
Don’t remember this sign at Ronto Roasters.
A new kiosk has sprung up at the Creature Stall where you can find Bina’s Guide to the Creatures of Batuu activity book which invites young travelers to seek out stamps from various locations in the land.
The Toydaria Swirl ($8.79) at the Milk Stand takes the location’s green milk and swirls in mango jelly and what we can only assume is chamoy sauce and Tajin seasoning. It’s definitely the best way to enjoy the otherwise perfumey drink.
Not sure when this debuted but there’s a play mat at the Droid Depot where you can take your newly-built astromech and take it for a spin.
King Arthur Carousel is still wrapped in Go-Away-Blue scrims.
The blue scrims make it look like there’s absolutely nothing but blue sky behind the castle.
Not much noticeable change at Snow White’s Scary Adventures.
Trees are flying solo in Fantasyland.
Is there a tree missing here? O.o
Still missing some gals in “it’s a small world.”
Cogsworth Cakes or… donuts as most people call them.
Belle and Gaston were out near “it’s a small world.” We also spotted Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie down near the Mad Tea Party.
The operations mess that is the Tropical Hideaway seems to have delineated a single line now for all offerings, a sort of cafeteria style setup. A move that seems lateral at best. Not sure why they don’t setup registers at the FRONT of the location and then let customers take their receipts to the respective windows to pickup their items.
Mayor Sam J. McGillicuddy in Frontierland.
The Mark Twain is still in dry dock.
Haunted Mansion is still under its extended refurbishment.
Oogie Boogie is pulling in some serious OT at the popcorn cart.
The popsicle stick benches have been removed from Goofy’s House. Their inclusion there to begin with was a little…
GOOFY!
Around the Resort
Jamba is not showing any more visible signs than last weekend for its upcoming reopening.
