As we draw closer and closer to the premiere of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway we’re starting to get more and more visuals to help drive excitement and today we have a look at a fun new marketing image that features our titular heroes caught up in a twister with Huey, Dewey, and Louie! Pluto can also be seen caught up in the tornado along with a picnic basket that seems to be an important element to the storyline! 

On Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Chinese Theater (or Disneyland’s new El CapiToon Theatre) serves as the magic portal through which you can actually step into a colorful cartoon world where anything can happen. On this zany, one-of-kind adventure, expect the unexpected as you ride through the NEW Mickey Mouse cartoon “Perfect Picnic”!

As you make your way to the “premiere” of “Perfect Picnic” in the attraction, you’ll move through the theater’s lobby and embark on your adventure where mouse rules apply! Other marketing image previously released for the attraction takes us through other colorful landscapes including a scene that will take us underwater! in all three images, Pluto can be seen guarding the picnic basket!

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 4, 2020.

The attraction is also set to open at Disneyland in 2022. An exact opening date has not yet been provided.
