On Friday August 9, the Haunted Mansion turned 50 years old and Disneyland didn’t let the anniversary go un-noticed. A bunch of special food and merchandise options debuted this past week but that’s not the whole of it! There was a swinging wake that took place last week at the 13th hour inviting up-charge party guests to party through the night waking the dead and celebrating the Haunted Mansion plus last weekend’s Midsummer Scream kicked off celebrations with a Grim Grinning Gala and several events through-out the weekend.
Plus, here at MouseInfo, we spent a whole week looking into the Haunted Mansion, check out the articles below in case you missed any!

Haunted Mansion 50th Anniversary Food
The Caretaker sandwich at Hungry Bear features Crispy Pork Belly seasoned with House Spices, layered with BBQ Sauce, Grilled Onions, Cheese Sauce, House-made Pickle, crispy Slaw on a Potato Roll. This is one of the best things we’ve seen come out of the Disneyland Resort in quite some time. A fantastic blend of flavors and textures, it’s absolutely a must try. It comes with fries but for $2.59 extra you can upgrade them to Loaded Onion Rings…
Loaded Onion Rings are new to the Hungry Bear menu but not specifically for the Haunted Mansion 50th celebration. The onion rings feature Cheese Sauce, Bacon, Scallions, and Cilantro Lime Crema on top of Onion Rings. They are also a truly fantastic and memorable dish that you’d be remiss not to try!
But this is just a very very small portion of Haunted Mansion food, drinks, and snacks to try for a limited time at the Disneyland Resort. Check out a full look at the Disney Parks Blog below.

A Midsummer Scream
Last week, we visited Midsummer Scream and it turned out to be quite the year to make that visit with the far reaches of the entire convention were celebrating Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction which turns 50 years old on Friday. From an entire Grim Grinning Gala to panels and exhibit displays there was a lot of Haunted Mansion but beyond that there was plenty for Disney fans to take in and oh yeah, Halloween and horror, too! It’s a chock-packed pictorial looking at the 2019 Midsummer Scream!
