Every Star Wars story needs a weathered watering hole and the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge offers up the best libations this side of the Unknown Regions at no place other than Oga’s Cantina. Proprietor Oga Garra provides a haven for travelers with exotic beverages served in unique vessels and out-of-this-world tunes provided by DJ R-3X — a chatty droid that fans might recognize if they ever had a haywire ride aboard Star Tours in years past.

The Food and Drinks
There’s a lot of options to consider at this vibrant watering hole, here’s a guide to help you make some decisions…
Alcoholic Drinks
Fuzzy Tauntaun
Fuzzy Tauntaun ($15) features Cîroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, and Simply Orange® topped with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, “Buzzz” Foam. The foam has a subtle numbing effect which is a fun conversation piece. The drink itself tastes create thanks to all the peachy flavors contrasted with the sharp citrus.
Yub Nub
Yub Nub ($42) features Malibu Pineapple Rum, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Citrus Juices, and Passion Fruit served in souvenir vessel. At this time, the mugs may not be purchased independently of the drinks. This was our favorite drink of the night and look how cool this mug is with Ewoks, the Death Star, Tie Fighters and more hidden on it! The beverage itself is a dangerously fruity and tropical drink that masks its boozy potency very well. It’s so tiki good and it will have you saying Yub Nub just like the best of them on Endor — or at least you’ll think so after one or two of them.
Bespin Fizz
Bespin Fizz ($17) features Bacardi Superior Rum, Yuzu Purée, Pomegranate Juice, White Cranberry Juice, and Cloud Swirl. Fruity and delicious and ever so magically bubbly thanks to the layer of dry ice sealed at the bottom.
Jedi Mind Trick
Jedi Mind Trick ($14) features Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose Vodka, John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum, Bols Blue Curaçao, White Grape Juice, Lime Juice, and Grapefruit Bitters. If you usually like cocktails that are blue, this one just about fits the trick. There’s a nice tang to it but still quite sweet.
The Outer Rim
The Outer Rim ($16) is a really fun concoction with Patrón Silver Tequila, Cedilla Açaí Liqueur, Lime Juice, and Pure Cane Sugar topped with Black Salt and Exotic Fruit Purée. Tequila fans should find a super satisfying drink with a great blend of flavors.
Rancor Beer Flight
Although we didn’t try this, we had to show you Rancor Beer Flight ($75) which is served in souvenir board and four tooth glasses. Includes sampling of each beer or your choice of any of the four beers on the menu. As with the other souvenir vessels, the glassware may not be purchased independently of the drinks.
Non-Alcoholic
Carbon Freeze
Carbon Freeze ($7.50) features Powerade® Lemon Lime and Wild Strawberry with Blueberry and Green Apple Popping Pearls. Delightfully sweet and we’re suckers for anything with boba and bursting boba. If it looks disgusting that’s because it’s the drippings from the Worrt aquarium perched above the spigot that the lemony yellow goop is poured! Hakunnah Mattata!
Sometimes drinks just work better with a straw and for this one we were given a small black paper straw. This is a major epic faux pas that we hope is addressed. One does not drink a beverage with boba and NOT have a straw capable of sucking up said boba.
You can see the worrt tank here and the hoses that connect from it down to the spigot.
Cliff Dweller
Cliff Dweller ($32) features Citrus Juices, Coconut, Hibiscus-Grenadine, and Seagram’s® Ginger Ale served in souvenir vessel. At this time, the mugs may not be purchased independently of the drinks. This is another decidedly tiki-tasting drink although we found the combination of flavors to be somewhat disappointing.
Blue Bantha
Blue Bantha ($13) is definitely a unique one featuring Blue Milk served chilled (vs. frozen) with a Bantha-inspired Vanilla-Butter Sugar Cookie (Contains Tree Nuts: Coconut). Essentially melted blue milk, this tastes just about the same as it does outside but does not have the slushy texture so it’s a good bit thicker. The cookie on top is delicious but does not pair well with the cookie at all. The cookie is essentially a butter sugar cookie with another cookie on top that’s very similar to a Girl Scout Caramel DeLite and then that is topped with a white chocolate horn.
Snacks
Oga’s Obsession
Oga’s Obsession ($7.50) is made with Odwalla® Lemonade, Cotton Candy Flavor, and Blueberry Popping Pearls with a bursting Dried Fruit Mixture. It’s delightfully absurd and super taste. Very, very sweet! The popping rocks on top are a fun twist to what is essentially gelatin and bursting boba.
Batuu Bits
Batuu Bits ($8) are a a light crisp Snack Mix featuring a variety of flavors and textures. Flavors in here are varied in sweetness, spice, and saltiness across the mix of items including shrimp chips, pinwheels, wasabi peas, crispy wasabi nori sheets, little cracker bits similar to Chex mix, some strange textured purple pieces that were kinda like eating salty/savory Lucky Charms marshmallows, and more. There’s a lot going on here and while we enjoyed, we’re not sure we’ll be having a hankering for this in the future.
Photos of Oga’s Cantina
DJ R3X
After being removed from his post as a Starspeeder pilot at Star Tours, this buggy little droid (voiced by Paul Reubens) ended up in possession of Oga Garra and now spins tunes at Oga’s Cantina!
The Cantina
The notice board is ripe with advisements and notes for those willing to take the time to take a look.
It looks like tensions resolved in blaster fire are no stranger here!
