Disney California Adventure is once again bringing back evening guest interactions and during the Disneyland 70th Anniversary celebration, there is a special interactive opportunity that will allow you to literally change the evening’s performances of the brand-new World of Color Happiness! nighttime spectacular.

Here’s everything you need to know about the interactive World of Color Happiness!

Ahead of the FIRST World of Color Happiness! of each evening during the Disneyland 70th Anniversary, guests inside Disney California Adventure are invited to vote via the Disneyland app for one of four different Emotions from the INSIDE OUT franchise (Sadness, Anger, Disgust or Envy) to see them featured in special scenes throughout BOTH of that day’s shows!

To participate, just make sure to enable push notifications and location services on your device so that you will know when it’s time to vote.

Disney has previously confirmed World of Color Happiness! will feature a dazzling musical array featuring classic Disney songs and other iconic favorites but will also be complemented by two new songs including one by Boyz II Men performing a new rendition of “Rainbow Connection” and a new original song just for the show titled “Makes Me Wanna Move.” by FITZ (frontman and namesake of multi-platinum hitmakers Fitz and the Tantrums). The show will be hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from Pixar Animation Studios’ INSIDE OUT and INSIDE OUT 2 and feature tons of Disney characters and even the Muppets!
