Ready Party One: The Final Level 2026 SDCC Kick Off Party kicked off the fun at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 was with a giant unofficial bash at Parq Nightclub. Live music, fans in cosplay, and a nostalgic gaming vibe were a perfect match for the start of one of pop culture’s biggest weekends of the year.

Here’s everything we got to see at the Ready Party One 2026 SDCC Kick Off Party during San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

The party this year was a the neon-soaked digital playground with a retro gaming theme inviting fans to level up their experience showing up in gaming-inspired cosplay. The party kicked off at 8pm and went into the wee hours of the night until it was game over at 1:30 am.

We enjoyed live entertainment including the headlining band the Flux Capacitors (who we first encountered last year at Universal Fan Fest Nights) once again strumming up their quirky irreverent charms with a retro-fired setlist that included familiar tunes from Back to the Future (obviously), plus 90s classics from Green Day, Third Eye Blind, and more. Of course, you know they’re gonna throw in some millennial classics with their own takes on the themes for Ghostbusters, Power Rangers, Pokemon and more. The vibe that comes whenever these guys are on stage is always electric.

Before the Flux Capacitors rocked the stage back to the future, remix artist (and self-proclaimed Disney adult) Pri yon Joni got things warmed up before the alt rock tribute band the Smashing 90’s started the nostalgic rewind with 90s bangers by Blink182, System of a Down, and more. Gui Agustini (voice of Sunspot in X-Men ’97) made an appearance dressed has his character. There were also performances by Walter Emmanuel Jones (best known as the original Black Power Ranger) and performer ATO.

Chris Katan also made an appearance with director Joe Nunez to plug their upcoming project, Comcert Heroes.

Aside from all the cosplay, there were several photo-ops available areoinf the venue — a fully-fan-infused festival to kick off a most nerdtastic weekend.
