Last week, Disneyland Resort launched a series of new policies as the Happiest Place on Earth prepares for unprecedented crowds for the STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE expansion. Amongst those new changes were new restrictions on the kinds and sizes of strollers allowed into the parks. Effective May 1, the following stroller restrictions went into place:
- MAX SIZE: 31″ (79cm) wide and 52″ (132cm) long
- ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS: Stroller Wagons will no longer be permitted at any size.
The new changes potentially make visits harder for those with more than one child in tow and so Disneyland Resort now offers a rental Double Stroller ($35 per day) in addition to their Single Stroller ($15 per day).
The Disneyland Double Stroller is quite compact, here’s a look at what you can expect for your $35 double seater…
The Disneyland Double Stroller features tandem seating instead of side-by-side seating. This may present new challenges with children who might want to ride shot-gun.
The stroller is a Caboose Ultralight. The amount of storage space underneath will depend on the length of the legs of the child sitting in the back seat.
As with the front seat, over the shoulder restraints are equipped in the back seat of the Disneyland Double Stroller.
The strollers also feature the brandmark for ScooterBug.
The Disneyland Stroller Shop pricing and offerings including wheelchair and Electronic Convenience Vehicles (ECVs).
