It was a duck-blur today when cast and crew from the upcoming Disney XD DuckTales gathered at San Diego Comic-Con 2017.

Panelists included voice talent David Tennant the voice of Scrooge (Doctor Who, Jessica Jones), Ben Schwartz voice of Dewey (House of Lies, Parks and Recreation), Kate Micucci the voice of Webby (Garfunkel and Oates, Don’t Think Twice), Danny Pudi the voice of Hewey (Community, Powerless), and Beck Bennett voice of Lunchpad McQuack (Saturday Night Live, Sing) and they were joined by creative team comprised of Matt Youngberg (executive producer) and Frank Angones (co-producer/story editor). The convo was moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Marc Snetiker.

The big highlight of the panel was that Darkwing Duck was all but confirmed for cross over opportunities on the show along with some of his show’s villains like Negaduck, Megavolt, Quackerjack, and Magical DeSpell who were amongst the characters depicted briefly during the panel.

Enjoy a selection of highlight clips below that take a look at how and why they brought back the show, how voice actors think they would fair with their respective characters in an Amazing Race type scenario, and then we have a fun video highlighting the Q&A portion of the panel where more interesting tidbits were shared about the show.

DuckTales will premiere in a one-hour television movie to be presented for 24 consecutive hours, SATURDAY, AUGUST 12 (beginning at midnight, EDT/PDT) on Disney XD.  Then, the series will debut with two new episodes SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23.
