The Exhibit Floor at San Diego Comic-Con gets a lot of the glory every year but there’s a ton of other goings on OUTSIDE of the convention center that attendees can partake in and a lot of them don’t require credentials for the event!
We were only able to see a small portion of everything available outside of the Con but you’ll find below a whole lot of pop culture madness on display!
FXhibition
Every year FX puts on a big show on the lawn inbetween the San Diego Convention Center and the Hilton Bayfront to promote their upcoming library of must-see TV for this fall. This year there were experiences for American Horror Story: Cult, Atlanta, Strain, Legion, Ghosted, and more
FOX
Fox usually also occupies space on the back lawn. This year they had experiences for Gifted, Ghosted, and Orville.
TBS #Wrecked
TBS celebrated with a barge and DaBoat with celebrity appearances and other events.
Adult Swim
We tried several times in the course of the Con to visit but it never seemed open! This is always a fun distraction.
Interactive Zone at Petco Park
Conveniently located just after the bridge over Harbor, across the street from the Convention Center, is the always fun Interactive Zone. This year there was fun exhibits from Xfinity recreating scenes from Orange is the New Black and Game of Thrones, there was also fun experiences from Pepsi, Schick Hydro, Jack in the Box, IT, Geico, and Recoil.
Westworld
The popular HBO show took up residence in the Hilton Bayfront offering no more than a hundred or so lucky people per day the opportunity for a hyper integrated experience.
