Hulu confirmed plans this week from a new partnership with Disney that will bring 50 feature length films from the house of Mouse to the popular streaming destination.

Disney/Netflix exclusive online streaming partnership launches in September

A complete list has not been released as yet but movies already confirmed include the following:

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Mulan
  • Pocahontas
  • Hercules
  • Sister Act
  • Air Bud
  • Lilo & Stitch
  • Tarzan
  • The Emperor’s New Groove
  • Muppet Treasure Island
  • The Princess and the Frog

Disney currently has a partnership with Netflix which gives the Hulu competitor not only digital streaming access to select films but also exclusive US pay TV home rights of the latest films from Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar. Several Disney titles have been available on the Netflix streaming service over the years and now films theatrically released this year will find their pay TV home only on Netflix.

Disney Movies Anywhere will continue to be the premiere hub for PURCHASING and aggregating personal collections of films from the Disney-owned library.
