San Diego Comic-Con 2016 is officially here and on the Preview Day we got to take a walk around the entire show floor for a look at the highlights, sights, sounds, and visuals for this year’s event. There’s a ton going on and between Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon and of course all the other studios, exhibitors and oh… the comics, there’s something to delight every fancy.

Marvel Booth

The typical melee of celebrity appearances and other goings on will be taking place at the Marvel booth once again. On display today was a framed portrait of Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Also on display is the Captain America statue created by Marvel and Comicave Studios who worked together to create the bronzy wonder that was unveiled today ahead of its cross-country tour before it stops in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.

Nickelodeon and The Splat have assembled an impressive retro rewind to feature some of their classic 90s programming including Legends of the Hidden Temple, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, CatDog, Rocko’s Modern Life, and Invader Zim, among many others.

Take pictures with the football head himself or several other classic Nick favorites such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rugrats, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, and Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge.

You can also take part in the Legends of the Hidden Temple Virtual Reality 360-Degree Experience into the TV movie inspired by the game show, of test yur knowledge by answering trivia questions from Legends of the Hidden Temple’s King Olmec for the opportunity to win prizes.

The Prop Store

The Prop Store’s impressive collection of more than 75 pieces of original film props and costumes from some of cinema’s biggest titles can be seen here. Many of the pieces have never before been exhibited publicly, or offered at auction so it’s a great chance to see some great stuff including Gizmo, Goonies, Juriassic Park and way more.
