Disney Channel just recently launched a sneak peek at ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING which will be the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie. The advanced preview features the first 10 minutes of the film and is also available on the Disney Channel and Freeform apps.
Based off the popular teen flick from the 1980s by the same name, the story features two competing babysitters that turn an ordinary night into a truly unforgettable adventure. The film headlines with Sofia Carson and Sabrina Carpenter. The Disney Channel Original Movie stars Nikki Hahn as introverted teen Emily Cooper, Mallory James Mahoney as young fashionista Katy Cooper, Max Gecowets as the rebellious Trey Anderson, Jet Jurgensmeyer as chef wunderkind Bobby Anderson, Madison Horcher as roller derby fanatic Alison “AJ” Anderson and Kevin Quinn (Disney Channel’s “BUNK’D”) as Jenny’s crush Zac Chase.
“Adventures in Babysitting” is directed by John Schultz (“Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer,” “Like Mike”)and written by Tiffany Paulsen (“Nancy Drew”). The movie is executive-produced by Michelle Manning (“Teen Beach 2,” “The Breakfast Club”) and Chuck Minsky is the director of photography (“The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement,” “Mother’s Day”).
ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING debuts on Disney Channel June 24, 2016 and is available on DVD on June 28, 2016.
