Downtown Disney summer nights come alive with themed nights, live entertainment

Walt Disney World has been making a big splash with its recent DISNEY SPRINGS grand openings but Downtown Disney in California isn’t out for the count.

This summer, Downtown Disney has a slew of Dance Party nights that will feature a varying lineup of big band, swing and rockabilly bands, including Phat Cat Swinger and Crown City Bombers, plus Top 40 and ‘80s groups. The Downtown Disney Live! Stage will be where the separate themed parties will take place.

Plus, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m. throughout the summer, Vocal Trip offers a cappella renditions of Disney favorites and popular songs throughout the Downtown Disney District.

• MONDAYS: Reggae nights with Island Reggae Band.
• TUESDAYS: Latin nights with Adelaide.
• WEDNESDAYS: Country and Cajun nights.
• THUSDAYS: Oldies and classic rock nights.
• FRIDAYS: Polynesian nights–sponsored by Dole– with Tupua.
