“The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” will be debuting next month on ABC to celebrate the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration of the place where the Disney Park magic started: Disneyland. Oddly not filmed last year when the park celebrated its grand opening of July 17, 1955, the 2-hour special promises an entertainment packed program with Elton John as host.
Elton John filmed two musical performances tonight at Disneyland in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle including “Circle of Life” and a new track from his new album “Wonderful Crazy Night.” Audience attendees were all given MADE WITH MAGIC Ear Hats that lit up during the performance.
According to ticketing website 1ota, other appearances for the special will include Meghan Trainor, Fall Out Boy, Jessie J., Derek Hough, and Tori Kelly.
“The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” premieres Sunday, February 21 on ABC.
