Disney’s sleeper hit ENCHANTED seems to have turned another page at the Disney Studio. The film’s “happily ever after” may not quite be the whole story according to Collider who recently reported that a sequel is picking up steam with the working title DISNENCHANTED.
No word just yet on story specifics or whether or not Idina Menzel will take a pause on being THE FROZEN QUEEN to reprise the hopelessly romantic human turned ‘toon character. Perhaps best known for singing the inescapable “Let it Go” in Disney’s FROZEN, Menzel ironically had no singing roles in the original Enchanted featured featured music by legendary Disney composer Alan Menken.
There’s no word on whether or not the film’s other stars would be returning either including Amy Adams, James Marsden, Patrick Dempsey or Susan Saranadon.
The original film took cliched fairy tale moments and put the world on its head by bringing it into one of the least bright and magical places in the realm… New York City.
