From January 23rd to February 16th 2014, Hong Kong Disneyland is celebrating “Endless Fortune” for the lunar Chinese New Year.

The Happiest Chinese New Year Celebration Parade will roll down Main Street with a customized float for the Year of the Horse. Plus, Lai See containing a large chocolate gold coin will be distributed to Guests at the Hong Kong Disneyland Main Entrance turnstile. Other goodies include characters such as Mickey, Minnie, and Duffy dressed up in Chinese New Year outfits. New food and merchandise items themed towards the “Endless Fortune” celebration can also be found throughout the park.

The Happiest Chinese New Year Celebration Hong Kong Disneyland brings Endless Fortune and Good Luck to Every Family

The Year of the Horse is around the corner and it’s time to plan ahead for Chinese New Year celebrations with your family and loved ones. In the coming Chinese New Year, Every corner of Hong Kong Disneyland will be filled with good fortune! All seven themed lands will be immersed in the spirit of Chinese New Year and opened for Guests to share the happy moments and endless fortune in the Year of the Horse!

Unlimited Luck Spread over the Seven Themed Lands

From January 23rd to February 16th 2014, Hong Kong Disneyland will be immersed with “Endless Fortune”. Guests will be showered with luck and fortune starting from their first step along Main Street, U.S.A., where they will commence their journey of happiness in the Year of the Horse by taking family photos at the chromatic horse photo location at Town Square.

Guests will receive various blessings when visiting the three new themed lands. Lord Henry invites Guests to visit his home at Mystic Point, which is filled with precious collections of fine art and antiquities. He hopes that by doing so, the home of his Guests will fill up with treasures too. How can Guests pass up the chance to collect treasures in a land rich with fortune and gold? A visit to Grizzly Gulch for a ride on Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars will surely enhance Guests’ affluence during the Chinese New Year. Guests will also be able to experience the spirit of the festival and enjoy playtime with buddies in Toy Story Land, where all luck and fortune will be magnified in the world of oversized toys.

To continue on the path of luck and fortune, Guests are encouraged to take an exotic trip on the Jungle River Cruise, where the venture will bring Guests joy and success in the coming year. Next, Tomorrowland will definitely give young adults the thrill of space exploration, where prosperity reaches past the clouds – to infinity and beyond! Hong Kong Chinese New Year’s Night Parade

Hong Kong Disneyland will continue participating in the annual Hong Kong Chinese New Year’s Night Parade hosted by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Themed as “The Happiest Chinese New Year Celebration”, the Disney’s float has many pinwheels symbolizing the New Year bringing new opportunities. The Mickey-shaped happy balloons spread endless luck to Hong Kong during “The Happiest Chinese New Year”! The two horses are nods to the upcoming Chinese zodiac. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy will greet you in their Chinese New Year costumes and share blessings of luck and good fortune.

Starting from January 31st (1st day of CNY), Lai See containing a large chocolate gold coin will be distributed to Guests at the Hong Kong Disneyland Main Entrance turnstile while supplies last, letting guests bring back the fortune at home.
