Halloween Time is just around the corner and the 2026 fall season at the Disneyland Resort will bring familiar favorites including Haunted Mansion Holiday, Plaza de la Familia, and the return of the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party upcharge event.

Here’s everything we know so far about Halloween Time 2026 at the Disneyland Resort.

At Disneyland Park

  • Disney characters will be photo-ready in their Halloween best.
  • Haunted Mansion Holiday will feature a merry makeover of the beloved eerie estate, inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
  • Halloween Screams returns every weekday night from as a supernatural projection and special effects show. On weekend nights, the show will be enhanced with fireworks. The show can be enjoyed from Main Street, USA, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and in front of “it’s a small world.”
  • Themed food and drink options will be located all around the park
  • The familiar grin of the Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern and the cleverly carved pumpkins of the Main Street Pumpkin Festival.
  • Día de los Muertos decor in Frontierland with with marigolds and banners of papel picado returns with its signature larger-than-life skeleton figurines.
  • Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit scavenger hunt activity is a fun quest to find specially themed pumpkins around the park

At Disney California Adventure Park

  • Mickey Mouse and friends will be throwing it back with old-fashioned Halloween costumes.
  • Mickey’s Trick and Treat show will be a daily offering at the Disney Theater with Mickey and friends celebrating a not-so-scary Halloween as they sing and dance along to the whimsically wacky songs.
  • Favorite attractions will be transformed for the Halloween season.
    • In Cars Land, Radiator Springs will become Radiator Screams, where residents decorate their homes for a unique Haul-O-Ween makeover
    • Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree transforms from Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
    • Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween takes over Luigi’s Rolickin’ Roadsters
    • Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark returns nightly offering an exciting Halloween adventure filled with creepy creatures and thrilling drops.
  • Plaza de la Familia returns with live entertainment, festive foods, crafts and more:
    • Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco! is a lively show honoring the film with music and festive costumes
    • A greeting with a hand-animated figure of Miguel from COCO
    • Live music at Paradise Gardens Bandstand
    • Arbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location and memory wall
  • Seasonal décor will add to the Halloween ambiance on Buena Vista Street.
    • Don’t forget to snap a spooky selfie in front of the 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman holding his jack-o-lantern head to the sky.
  • Themed food and drink options will be located all around the park
  • Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit scavenger hunt activity is a fun quest to find specially themed pumpkins around the park

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party

On select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026, the separate-ticket, after-park hours event Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will add to the family friendly fun during Halloween Time.

  • Guests of all ages can enjoy early entry into Disney California Adventure ahead of the event start.
  • Guests can trick-or-treat their way through the park in their favorite Halloween costumes and encounter characters both spooky and fantastic.
  • Exclusive offerings including immersive treat trails, Villain’s Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, and more.
  • NEW: Since Frightfully Fun Parade is not returning this year, fans can enjoy the new Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party. Plus, at select times throughout the evening, Ichabod Crane scurries the park evading the sinister Headless Horseman astride his dark steed.
  • Tickets start at $134 per guest (ages 3+) and will go on sale…
    • June 16 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) for Inspire Magic Key holders
    • June 17 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) for all Magic Key holders
    • June 18 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) for the general public
