Butterbeer Season is back again at Universal Parks for the 2026 season with new and favorite treats celebrating the iconic drink from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter from March 1 through May 31, 2026. Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are commemorating the liquid gold beverage this year and introducing a new Butterbeer Waffle. The festivities will also extend to Universal Beijing Resort and Universal Studios Japan.

Reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread, the magical drink has become an undeniable theme park sensation with a myriad of ways to enjoy the iconic flavor.  Here’s a some of what you you can expect this year.

Butterbeer Season takes place at at Universal Studios Hollywood form March 1 – May 31, 2026.

  • Butterbeer Waffle available at the Three Broomsticks
  • Butterbeer Cream Puff available at the Three Broomsticks
  • Butterbeer Ice Lolly available at ice cream vending carts
  • Butterbeer Fudge available at Honeydukes
  • Butterbeer Potted Cream available at Honeydukes
  • Butterbeer Soft Serve Ice Cream available at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Counter
  • Classic Butterbeer in Cold, Hot, and Frozen varieties available at Three Broomsticks, Hogs Head Pub, and vending carts around the Wizarding World. Not all types are available at all locations.

  • A new assortment of Butterbeer-themed merchandise will include a Spirit Jersey, t-shirt, bucket hat and more.

  • Biéraubeurre (Butterbeer) Crème Brûlée available at Café L’air de la Siréne in the Ministry of Magic.
  • Limited-time treats including a new Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar available exclusively at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley
