When the Lunar New Year festivities kick off at Disney California Adventure this month, fans will find the return of the popular Sip and Savor Pass in THREE different design options.
The Sip and Savor Pass is a scannable pass that offers the chance to score some savings on some of the most popular food and non-alcoholic drink options during the festival.
About the Artwork
The passes this year are available in three new, limited-edition, collectible designs that pay homage to either Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean cultures — reflecting the menus of the food and drink that are available for the celebration. The artwork has been designed once again this year by artist Ann Shen.
Favorite Disney characters (Mickey, Minnie, Clarabelle, Goofy, and Horace Horsecollar) in culturally-inspired outfits are integrated into the artwork. Simply let a Cast Member know which limited design you want at the time of purchase.
How it Works
The scannable pass features six digital coupons and can be redeemed for select bites and non-alcoholic beverages from the Lunar New Year Marketplaces and participating dining locations in Disney California Adventure.
A Cast Member will scan the barcode on the back of your pass then you simply enter the 4-digit code to complete your transaction.
Prices
To get the most bang for your buck out of the 6-redemption passport, you’ll just want to make sure you don’t get any of the items that cost less than $8.17 (regular) or $7.67 (Magic Key holder). Considering the prices, that shouldn’t be terribly difficult as long as you avoid desserts and drinks!
