In a year marked by disappointing entertainment cuts, it seems the the 2024 Disney Holidays did not go untouched with the confirmation from Disney today that the previously-daily ¡Viva Navidad! street party is being reduced to just 16 total performance days. On days when it won’t be performed, it will alternate with new entertainment offerings.
Here’s what we know about the the changes to ¡Viva Navidad! street party during the 2024 Disney Holiday season at Disneyland Resort.
Disney confirmed the ¡Viva Navidad! street party will perform on select days bringing the familiar band of The Three Caballeros accompanied by Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, and more. The confirmed event dates follow below, essentially Saturdays and Sundays only throughout the season. It would seem even Christmas and the busier dates of the season are not spared from the cuts.
- 2024: November 16, 17, 23, 24, 30; December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29
- 2025: January 4, 5
On days when the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party is not scheduled, there will be new offerings featuring Mirabel from Disney Animation’s “Encanto” or Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” in festive street performances that celebrate the holidays and the gift of familia. These will take place outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park. Guests can check Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app for performance schedules.
