HamiKuma is the creepy-cute sensation from Japan and now he’s making an exclusive stateside appearance at at 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood for the Halloween season. From a meet and greet and popcorn bucket to a special popcorn bucket, there’s no escaping the lovable bruin.

Here’s a look at how to see HamiKuma during 2025 Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.

If you’re visiting the park during the Halloween season, you might spot the cuddly candy-stuffed HamiKuma doing meet and greets near the Universal Animation Studio Store ready for hugs and selfies. He can be seen throughout the day at the front of the park.

If you’re into novelty souvenirs that come with free refills (on the day of purchase) you can opt for the plastic popcorn bucket modeled after the character. If you’ve got more of a sweet tooth there’s HamiKuma Dessert which is a layered chocolate parfait that, like HamkKuma’s insides, is bursting with candies.

Halloween Horror Nights returns this year to Universal Studios Hollywood (Thursday, September 4, 2025) and to Universal Studios Florida (Friday, August 29, 2025) and both events run select nights through Sunday, November 2, 2025.
