A fresh crop of horrors have been harvested at Knott’s Scary Farm for the 2025 haunt season and we’ve got a full look at everything going on including two new mazes a bunch of scare zones and entertainment plus food merch and a whole evening packed with horrific fun.

House Rankings

We have a complete ranking of all of the haunted house mazes this year to help you prioritize your plan of attack. The horrors unleashed this year include Mary – The Haunting of Worth Home, Cinema Slasher, Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman, Origins: The Curse of Calico, The Grimoire, The Zoo, Mesmer, Widows, The Chilling Chambers, and Room 13.

Scare Zones

Scare Zones return again with frightful surprises including The Gauntlet which brings Game of Thrones vibes with a horror twist in Camp Snoopy; Gore-ing 20’s with the decadence and debauchery of a bygone area near Charleston Circle, Forsaken Lake with swampy unearthly undead near Silver Bullet, CarnEVIL with clowns and carnie creeps on the Boardwalk, and, of course, the Ghost Town Streets with treacherous old western scares screaming back to life.

Entertainment

If you need a break from the running and screaming but sitting on a bench is a little too passive, there’s some wicked entertainment to enjoy, as well.

There’s several opportunities to howl with laughter or just let yourself get a breather with this year’s newly updated The Hanging: There’s a New Tariff in Town pop-culture stuntacular plus the return of favorites like Le Magnifique Carnaval du Grotesque sideshow extravaganza and Conjurers magic shows.

If the mazes, scare zones, and entertainment aren’t enough to keep you satisfied there’s a bunch of other activities and offerings you can enjoy during the event including the Into the Fog: Tribute Art Show at The Factory Store where you can find a gorgeous work of art at this Knott’s Scary Farm Tribute Art Show.

Plus, aside from several of the park’s regular attractions in operation you can also enjoy select coasters such as Silver Bullet and Ghostrider in the dark!

There’s also seasonal overlays available on two popular attractions. At the Timber Mountain Log Ride, the classic Knott’s hallmark attraction gets a zany Halloween Hootenanny takeover with an insane assortment of monsters, aliens, and other creatures — both scary and silly. Or, venture over to the Calico Candy Mines where the The Pink Fairy has transformed the iconic peak into a fantastical big rock candy mountain update sure to satisfy every sweet tooth — just be careful of those popping rocks!

Food and Drink

The best way to survive a night in the fog is to make sure you stay fueled up with variety of different themed food and drink options!

Shopping

A bunch of merch is available this year from tees and apparel to mugs, keychains and other keepsakes. Items to look out for include the Interactive Lanterns for enhanced experiences and No-Boo Necklaces for less scares.

Plus, the Knott’s Scary Farm Legacy Haunt Store and Museum is available at the California Marketplace. This amazing store closes early to the public on nights that Knott’s Scary Farm is held and re-opens with a dedicated in-park entrance exclusive for event attendees later in the evening. Inside, you’ll find a wide assortment of apparel, gifts, and collectibles for this year’s event.

Knott’s Scary Farm returns for 30 frightful nights from September 18 – November 1, 2025. Event dates follow:

• October: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31
• November: 1

Knott’s Scary Farm is open 7 p.m.–2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 7 p.m.–1 a.m. on select Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
