Kermit the Frog took to social media to confirm that the upcoming Rock ’N’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets attraction will be ready to jam starting in 2026. The news comes on the final day of operation for the cult-favorite MuppetVision 3D attraction which is closing to make way for a massive Monster’s, Inc. expansion.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will soon feature the iconic Muppets characters, including the Electric Mayhem, as they team up for a rockin’ music festival! Disney promises laughter, screams, and new tunes for this attraction for fans to enjoy and of course, plenty of Muppets-themed merchandise.

The original Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 29, 1999, launching guests on a memorable trip to 57 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The indoor coaster begins with a  pre-show tour of G-Force Records before Aerosmith invites guests to race across town in a super-stretch limo to their concert, with each ride featuring different Aerosmith songs.
