Tapestry of Happiness is a sleeper hit of the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration bringing an absolutely adorable projection show to the facade of the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction. Featuring homages to both Disneyland attractions and Disney characters, this colorful spectacle had us swooning and tapping our feet at the same time.
Here’s everything you need to know during the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration at the Disneyland Resort.
About the Show
The entire aesthetic for the show is a charming tribute to the art stylings of Mary Blair whose creative input during her time with the company influenced countless projects including “it’s a small world” itself.
The show is a visual love letter to 70 years of the Happiest Place on Earth with nods to several fan favorites and a collage of visual and audio callbacks.

How to Watch
Tapestry of Happiness takes place in front of the “it’s a small world” attraction which serves as the backdrop for the projection mapping experience. The entire show lasts just under 6 minutes in total length.
While not as popular as larger scale options like Fantasmic!, the schedule for this offering will make earlier showings more crowded. The first show takes place RIGHT AFTER the fireworks and the second show takes place RIGHT BEFORE the second showing of the Paint the Night parade. The viewing area for this show is also prime viewing for both of those popular offerings. If you are picky about where you view this show, you will want to try to either catch the last showing of the night or position yourself in a spot that is advantageous for whichever offerings you’re trying to enjoy. If you are going to the final showing, decent viewing should be available with spots still available until right before the lights go down and the show begins.
Typical showtimes are 9:50 PM, 10:20 PM, and 11:30 PM. Showtimes are subject to change so always check the Disneyland app on the day of your visit for the latest information.
MagicBand+ Interactions
Extra magic can be added to your visit by experiencing the show with a MagicBand+. The extra-cost wristband promises to spring to life during the show with dancing lights and vibrations synchronized to the show.
